Captain vs Vice-Captain

Club Captain Martyn Drysdale led the way in the annual season-opening Captain vs Vice-Captain matchplay competition (see photo).

Thankfully, the forecast poor weather held off long enough for everyone to complete their round in the dry and, for the most part, in sunshine. All enjoyed their golf, with the course in excellent condition for this time of year, reflecting the hard work of the Greens Team in preparing it (despite recent challenging weather).

Unfortunately for the Captain, his team suffered a second successive defeat. In the magnanimous words of the Vice-Captain: “Better luck next year!”
